I should be able to install the card, however I’m worried about powering it (it has no 6pin PCIe power connector), and having ESXi be able to use it.įinally, I was worried about cooling. While it does support dual-height (dual slot) PCIe cards, it only has a single 350W power supply, misses some fancy server technologies (I’ve had issues with VT-d, etc), and only a single processor. In order for me to use a dual-height card, I’d need to rig something up to have an eGPU (external GPU) outside of the server.Īs for the M元10e, it’s an entry level tower server.
